Having It My Weigh Home | Profile | Archives | Friends
My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

It is going to be one of those days that the containers are waiting for me at the scale house. The temperature has not varied that much in the past twelve hours. I was beginning to think that my thermometer was broken. I should be fairly busy today. I hope I can get out of there and mail that video to Mikey. I have to look around for the scooter and dirt board. I think I will go ahead with the Sprint thing as well since I will be able to use my laptop about any place.

It was a very busy day. There were two truck lines on the containers and then our own trucks. English was on the hay hauling and should have finished it up. I expected two Laughlin trucks but only one showed up. I tried to find a four-wheeled scooter without much luck. I did find some dirt boards. Hopefully I will be able to find some around here or the TriCities. Tom made a visit and talked about looking for another job. He was on Jenny for some rent. Several people have said they have received the kicker on Oregon income tax. So far I haven’t received anything. It was a cloudy rather dismal day without sunshine and very little variation in temperature. No exercising and that is not good. I was pretty busy however. I do a lot of jumping up and down that ought to count for something. Not much really.

I mailed the video to Mikey, went by the post office, and on to the Sprint Store. I looked the deal over and said I would take it. Then began a round of bullshit I could not believe. I became frustrated and decided on the spot I did not want the deal. I walked out and those people stared with open mouths. The jerk called me but I refused to answer. The message was that I needed to comeback in to de-activate the account. What a line of bullshit! I think it would have been a waste of money. For four dollars more I could get better service here at the trailer but I would probably have to sign another contract for a year. I will think about it some more.

I called Mikey and not much going on. He said that it was not that cold down there. He did not have any homework and not much else to say. So we ended the conversation.
