Having It My Weigh Home | Profile | Archives | Friends
My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

Tuesday With TrunksDecember 18, 2007

It has been raining off and on this morning. In was overcast. There has been very little business for the scale house. In fact it is two thirty and I have yet to weigh anything. I did get an email off to Michael’s mom but I have not heard anything back. I walked around for a while. I have had the tomato juice, banana, yogurt, an apple, and a cup of chicken broth. I was down a few pounds this morning and need to go down more. I sent emails to Art and MaryEllen. Tom was up for a while and not much going on there. It looked like we were going to get an APL container today. I sort of hope they don’t wait around until it is time to go home. I took some of the stuff out of the back of the car and sort of organized stuff so I’ll have room for the presents and any luggage that Mikey and Katie might have. The weather continues to be a puzzle. If it is like today that will be no problem. I really don’t think there is going to be snow but you never know this time of year.

The day was a long one. There was a truck for Ashlin Finch Co for some pellets. It was a different kind of load so it took a couple hours to get it loaded. I did not get away from the scale house until around six o’clock. I got cards from Marilyn and Roger. I mailed off the card to MaryEllen.

I called Katie’s cell phone and got voice mail. I called Annie who answered and said that Katie and Mikey had gone shopping. We chatted a minute and she wanted to know what time I was going to be there on Saturday. I guessed around noon depending on the weather and she said that Aspen, her son – Mikey’s uncle, wanted to see him before he left. I guess she decided there was time. I think they live fairly close together so it should not be a problem. I guess it was a reminder as to who is in control. The conversation sort of went down hill after that. Oh well, I got an answer from Michael’s mom and it was much the same old crap. Man, I hope this trip goes okay. It remains a concern.
