I got up fairly early and had a message from MM so emailed her back. I spent a lot of time trying to find a motel with an indoor pool. Not much luck so far. I need to get the oil changed in the Expedition and do some more laundry and just some general things to get ready for leaving for a few more days. I’ll probably check in with Art and Bob so that we can get our acts together.

I had the oil changed in the Expedition and went by to get a few things at WalMart – spent too much. Art called and said they had to feed animals and it was snowing so they would just show up at TRAC at six thirty. Bob called and said they had eight inches of snow and Valerie had to work so they were not coming.  Ate some Taco Bell and decided on a motel with an indoor pool for less than $150.00. Joel called and said that he had changed units and was living with a guy named Ty from Grants Pass who knew Michael. He wanted me to call his mother. Mikey called in the middle of the afternoon. He was checking on the day and when I was coming to Portland. I told him and we chatted about this and that. He had played the Zoo game and it was okay. He was just watching TV.  I mentioned the bull riding and could have cut my tongue out. I told him we were going swimming and playing in the park, go to the game, maybe a movie and end up at Chuckie Cheese for a new years party. He wanted me to call him when I got half way there and again about thirty minutes out. An email from MM that the overnight was much better with the boys actually playing and laughing. I sent her an email to see the Christmas pictures.

I left about four o’clock and ate at Old Country – too much. Then I went to the parking lot at TRAC and waited for Art. He showed up early and we got pretty good seats and it was a little while before things got under way. Adam did not score too well but he did get to ride two bulls. I wondered where his family was sitting. I got some gas and now I need to get some sleep.
