I feel a little sore this morning from all the activity yesterday. I am undecided as to what I plan to do today. I will probably give Mikey a call a little later on if he does not call me. I expect to stick around until after lunch. I expect that I have to be out of the motel by eleven. The wind is blowing but it is not raining so I guess we can be outdoors some of the time. I do not plan to be back until about the 12^th and then maybe for just the day. I will try to stay overnight once a month maybe. I am going to analyze every move from now on and make sure my butt is covered. Maybe hold back on some things if Katie gets testy. I don’t know - it is damned if you do and damned if you don’t.

I got a call from Annie about eight thirty looking for Mikey. She thought he stayed overnight with me. She seemed upset when she found out he was with Katie. She said she would let him know I was looking for him. About nine thirty Mikey called and Katie got on the line and asked me to meet her and Mikey in a parking lot near WalMart. I met them at ten o’clock and Katie said Mikey wanted to eat with me and that he could go swimming. But he was hell bent on getting a game called “Stacking Cups” at WalMart. He said his mom would have gotten it for him but she had lost her wallet – not true I think. Anyway we found the game and went to McDonald’s for his breakfast- a bottle of chocolate milk and a cinnamon roll. Then we went by Annie's and got his swimming trunks. I was checked out of the motel so we went searching for that community center. A lot of driving and finally found it but it was closed for the day. We went to the motel and they were agreeable that we could swim since no one else was there. He swam around and played games until three o’clock. He did not want to go back to Annie's because she was acting crazy he said. He wanted to go back to his mom at her friend’s. We called but she was reluctant for him to come over since they were napping. Finaly it was decided he could come but he would have to be quiet. He had his stacking cups game. We dropped off his trunks and some odds and ends we had been packing around. I helped him get it in the house. Bernie and Annie were holding hands watching TV. Katie called me while I was there and I gave the phone to Annie which pissed off all concerned. No, she could not borrow the vacuum cleaner. Supposedly Katie was cleaning the house for some cash (drugs?). Mikey was looking for reason for me to stay and us to hang out and wanted to get something to eat because the people doid not have any food in the house. Then he changed his mind. I finally talked him into a hot chocolate and a granola bar but could not find a close vender.  So finally had to stop at Starbuck's and get a hot cocoa and a brownie. Katie called and was hungry and wanted a grilled chicken club on sourdough at Jack-in-the-box. Got that and found the house. Mikey was taking all his stuff into the house and the guy met us at the bottom of the stairs with a barking dog. The guy looked like Jonah. Mikey had his stacking cups game box and gave it to Katie so he could give me a hug and Katie spilled all the pieces. I saw the look on his face and I could have cried for us both. He hugged me and said he would call tomorrow.

The drive home was easy and Ellen called as I went through Boardman.
