| It has been raining and snowing most of the day. None is sticking on yet but it is pretty soggy. There has been a lot of activity around the scale house. I haven’t see Tom for very long. I got an email from MM and she was having a rough day. She was saying that sometimes Annie’s and Katie’s boyfriends would discipline Mikey. That sort of raises my ire. I think that I would have something to say if it happened in front of me. I looked around for something to do in Portland this weekend but nothing has popped up yet. Mikey has not called yet today but of course he is just getting out of school. I got some pictures from Nancy showing the snowfall. Better her than me. I found out that the Expedition is almost paid off so that I can start paying more on the trailer and get it under control.
There was a royal fuck-up at work. Salvador sent half a container full of half-cut alfalfa bales. I am not sure how it is going to turn out. Around seven fifteen I called Mikey at Katie’s cell and got voice mail. I called Annie’s and Mikey answered. He seemed in a really silly mood and was pretty talkative. He said he had spent his bucks on a snack – two cinnamon rolls and some purple gummy bears. He described his shirt and seemed to really like it. We mentioned that there were three more days and I would be in Portland. He said school was about the same as ever. I am not sure what that means. I wish I were around to read to him. Maybe get a good story that he would like to hear about. He said he was watching TV tonight. But I am not sure. I sure would hate to have people picking on him because he is small. He seems to get along with others pretty good. There was a time or two that it seemed that he was getting on John’s nerves. I wish I could find something interesting to do this weekend.
