I looked at the alarm clock and it showed 337 so I got out of bed and stumbled around a while. I finally figured out the clock was an hour wrong and went back to bed for an hour. I am not sure how it happened. It was pretty cold but really not enough to test the system. I just wont push it however. I am debating about sending a message to Katie about letting Mikey come to Hermiston on the 21st of February. I feel like I need to get rid of the car –or not. At this point I am not sure. I guess I could tell the truth and say that it has to be repaired before anyone would buy it. There is not a lot of activity around the scale house. It may be fairly laid back today.
It has been a pretty slow day. I have only had a couple customers. I am going to walk a little this afternoon. It looks like the Blazers will be playing Sunday afternoon. I’ll check if Mikey wants to make the game. I suspect that he will. I hope that the weather is not sticky. It looks like it could be pretty sloppy even slick Sunday night. I would be driving home in the dark. I will keep my eye on it.
I want to make sure when I pass anything by Katie that I do it before she finds out that there is no more bus tickets. I would suspect that she would turn it into some drugs. If she is not at her mother’s she probably will not be getting any mail.
Mikey called and he was back at Annie’s. He sounded sort of subdued. He gave me a couple of yips. I mentioned the basketball game and he thought that would be a good idea. I watch Waitress tonight and it was a good video. About this young girl with an abusive husband. She was pregnant and had an affair with her doctor. That sort of sucked. I have had a gut ache a good part of the day. I am not sure what kicked it off but it is pretty tender tonight. |
