I woke up early and was still stewing about Mikey telling me that he had nothing to say to me and Annie made him call me. It really hurt my feelings and made me take a look at what the hell is going on. I am beginning to be more convinced that he might not have wanted to come to Hermiston last weekend and all the resistance to my plans were really coming from him. He more or less admitted to that the other day. You sure cannot make anyone like you - they have to want to do it or it is all for the wrong reasons. I guess he needs to know that. If he does not want to talk to me I sure don’t want him to be forced to do it. I guess we need to talk it out.
I had that cheap computer geek under foot all afternoon. I real pain in the ass and he just made things worse. He began giving me a lecture and that really pissed me off. I resented the fact that he was using my computer also. It was not anything that I particularly liked. I think Tom knew I was pissed at one point.
I called Mikey before I left work and got the voice mails. He called me soon and was in a good shape. What a character – he said that he hurt his knee in PE and he liked getting hurt. That is probably true. I remember the situation in Salem and he was really the center of attention for a while. He said that he had no plans for the weekend. So that might be a go. I heard from MM and checked out the bench situation and it is not going to be like we wanted but we will just have to see. I tried watching a video and fell asleep. I suiffered through a severe gut ache after I got home and I had not had that much to eat. |
