Laying down your arms, surrendering, saying you are sorry, realizing that you have been on the wrong track and getting ready to start life over again from the ground floor - that is the only way out of a hole.

May all beings everywhere plagued with sufferings of body and mind quickly be freed from their illnesses.  May those frightened cease to be afraid,  and may those bound be free.  May the powerless find power,  and may people think of befriending one another.  May those who find themselves in trackless, fearful wilderness-- the children, the aged, the unprotected--
be guarded by beneficent celestials, and may they swiftly attain peace.

Things are up in the air this morning. A storm went through last night and blew down some power poles so I have no water. The desktop computer wont work and I luckily had the back up ready to make some load plans. I went down to the mill to give Salvador a schedule and everyone was just sitting around. Not a lot of activity. I got an email from MM that Mikey was still around that they had talked about where he is staying. He said he would like to stay at GP but John made his life tough sometimes. I wish he would stay there. I think he would do pretty well and maybe have half a chance. She said he was worried that she might die. That seems to be one of his pre-occupations – my poor little waif- man, my heart and soul goes out to him. I wish I could think of a good way to insure that he has a chance to have a happy life.
