My daily thoughts and activities - to more or less help bring my thoughts together and maybe think things through better. It should be interesting to look at later.

Saturday's Ball GameJuly 19, 2008

Wishing will never be a substitute for prayer.

THE ANGEL OF HARMONY. I LIVE IN HARMONY WHEN I AM AT ONE WITH GOD. THIS ANGEL CAN HELP ME LIVE A HARMONIOUS LIFE, SEEKING OUT PEOPLE AND PLACES THAT ARE HARMONIOUS AND EXPRESSING MYSELF IN HARMONIOUS WAYS.

A hundred times a day I remind myself that my inner and outer life depends on the labors of other men, living and dead, and that I must exert myself in order to give in the measure as I have received and am still receiving.

It seems like another pleasant day. My blood pressure has been up the past three days. I have no idea why. I will probably call Mikey later and see if he got the cord and stuff. I also need to find out whether they need money for gas or food. I intend to go to the ball game again tonight. I am not sure what needs doing today – nothing probably. I spent some time reading and just generally relaxing. I went to TriCities for supper and ate at the Old Country – saw Mel McCloskey and Betty but sort of went around them. I called Mikey and he had received the two packages but did not seem to be especially appreciative. When I asked him about the gift card he said send cash. I told him I did not send cash. He chose a food card – I am not sure his mother would have chosen that. Who knows? Deanna called and wanted me to talk to Wes about buying a boat. Like I need to get in the middle of that beggar – no one is going to win there. Wes is headstrong and she is a vindictive bitch. I went to the ballgame and we finally won one 4-3 over Boise. I saw a couple of interesting people and a cute oriental kid.
