I am a way by which men may achieve. I am a source of strength, enabling them to stand. I am a beam of light, shining upon their way. And thus I stand. And standing thus, revolve. And tread this way the ways of men, And know the ways of God. And thus I stand.
We are fairly busy today. Tom leave for Florida tomorrow. I got an email from MM but nothing significant. She heard from Katie asking about Dom. She said she might have a job at a classy restaurant. That would be good. I guess she spent all day with Mikey in the park. I watched Crutch on the laptop. It was a fair movie about a young kid whose mother was an alcoholic and broke up the family. He got hooker up with an older guy and finally broke away from him. I went to WalMart and picked up a flag and might have touched a guy’s car backing out. I watch Love and Basketball tonight. It was a good story about a couple of black kids who liked one another and basketball. I talked to Mikey and he was telling me about having a present for his mom that was a water balloon. He does not seem to be running around that much any more. I would really like to know but I don’t want to stir anything up. |
