Let those who have more than they need for life's necessities be moved to use their wealth to create new opportunities for others. Let those who have skills be open to sharing the riches of their knowledge with those who seek the opportunity to learn. Let us all learn from one another, for you have blessed every human being with a gift for the benefit of the common good. And thereby enable us by the power of your Holy Spirit to build up the body of Christ on this earth that your name be proclaimed and blessed through the good work of all; in Christ’s name we pray. Amen. The world is full of opportunities for you to grow, today, so try to free up some time in your afternoon to take advantage of at least one of them! Plus, your brain is open to new ideas and new ways of doing things, and you are one old dog who is ready to learn some new tricks. If you have been thinking about starting a new hobby, pursuing a new interest or making a big move towards a new relationship, this is the right day to get things going. Making a change has never felt so exciting. It will take action and some degree of mental focus to achieve your goals. Your day at work could prove to be lucky, filled with achievements. Perhaps it's time to seal that big deal that you have going. Your finances could also be lucky today with an increase in your savings, but avoid too much risk because you may have to spend money elsewhere. The stormy weather has slowed down the trucking business so I have had a breather so far this morning. Tom came up and was more or less subdued. I am not sure how the new bosses are working out. He seemed to think that Michelle might be on her way out since Cleaver has an office with three women on Westland Road. She also was in early and seemed sort of out of it. I imagine that she is worried as well. I would sure hate to get cut out of here but I guess nothing is for sure. Hell, who could expect to be paid for watching movies and reading books and having it pretty much my way all day long? I watched a movie from television called Weeds. It was about young women who sold pot for a living. It was rather distasteful. I got Mikey’s package back and a long deal from the Post Office like I was being investigated. What a bunch of crap. I tried calling Mikey twice and got voicemail. Boy, sometimes it is hard talking to him and keeping track of him. I got a letter off to Joel with a promise of some money at the beginning of the month. What the hell. I got my bag back from Comfort Inn. It was certainly nice of them to send it. I was going to have to get another one plus a shaving bag. The apple tree around the front door has some good apples. | ||
